Somehow MailerLite is getting confused about which posts are new here.
Apparently when it starts a feed, it just takes a bunch of recent posts, cuz it can’t tell what’s new. No clear definition of “recent” here and I think the RSS feed source decides what it wants to send.
Thing is, it also seems to get confused when a campaign is cancelled, edited, and scheduled again. It doesn’t completely forget the history of the feed, though.
When I migrate to the actual RSS feed for the real blog, suddenly it will have forgotten everything and be at the mercy of that feed to know what to send. Right now that includes everything back through 2022 Dec 9.
I suppose I could defeat that by setting up a campaign to send to only the test group, then add the “real” mailing list and hope the next mailing contains the right stuff.
God only knows what will go out in the next mailing. There’s already something in Outbox which seems to omit the “Hmmm” post. Dunno if that’s real or not. It was scheduled when I moved the time to 7pm. I think I’ll cancel it after I post this, reschedule the campaign for 6 AM and see what happens.
